Buying Better Together

Our history

Widoo was founded by two executives, Antonio Falchi, former CEO of Eurofoil, and Gabriel Catania, founder of GC Partner.
Drawing on their experience, they observed that microbusinesses, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and mid-sized companies are at a disadvantage in their procurement efforts compared to large corporations.
They therefore decided to create the first collaborative purchasing group, consisting of about fifty independent companies wishing to pool their non-strategic purchases.
Given its success, they decided to offer this innovative concept to all independent SMEs.

2020

The Start-up !

July 2020: Creation of the start-up with three people and at the initiative of two Luxembourg company managers who noticed that local SMEs were at a disadvantage in their purchases compared to large international groups.

But also in comparison to the important cooperative structures existing in all our European neighbors. The success was immediate and the first 50 companies joined the network.

2021

Widoo has already reached 100 member companies!

Widoo is expanding and has set up three departments to better meet the needs of its members: purchasing department - network development department - network animation department. The network of members reaches nearly 100 companies.
